Clinical Associate Professor Kuthubutheen was invited to speak at the WA Neuroanaesthesia society meeting on the 16th of November. The title of the talk was “Spontaneous CSF Otorrhea – an emerging entity”. The talk discussed the growing entity of Spontaneous CSF Otorrhea in Western Australia and in other centres around the world, the likely causes, the role of obstructive sleep apnea and the surgical treatment with middle cranial fossa craniotomy and resurfacing. The talk was attended by Neurosurgeons, Anaesthetists and Radiologists.
