Dr. Fiona Whelan graduated from the University of Western Australia and completed her internship at Fremantle Hospital. She completed her training in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery and was admitted to the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2008.
Dr. Whelan then completed a 12 month Fellowship in General ENT and Head and Neck Surgery in Brisbane. Having developed a particular interest in Head and Neck Surgery, she underwent a further 12 month Fellowship in Canada, gaining further experience in all aspects of Head and Neck Surgery including Oncology, Endocrine Surgery and Reconstruction.
Dr. Whelan returned to Perth and joined the team at Western ENT where she welcomes all general paediatric and adult ENT and Head and Neck referrals. Dr. Whelan also has an appointment at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital which includes involvement in the Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Oncology Clinic, as well as teaching of medical students and junior doctors.
